Picture Stories by Radlov was first published in 1960, by Raduga Publishers of Moscow. This book appeared in almost all Indian
languages and could be bought on the pavement for just a few rupees. Unfortunately, after the disintegration of Russia this book has been out of print for over a decade. This child friendly book contains Picture Stories, which are full of fun, mischief and surprises. These stories do not attempt to sermonise, preach or teach. They are sheer, unadulterated fun for children. As the stories
are wordless - only a series of pictures, children can make up their own stories. The pictures of a particular story can be cut and
jumbled up and the children can then arrange them in their proper sequence.
The village’s children were the first to notice The village’s children were the first to notice the magical powers of the poor, old man who had recently come to their village. Very soon, through his magic, in his brief stay at the village, the poor old man rights a few wrongs and teaches the village people something to always fondly remember him by.
Tune in to this Chinese tale of magic and generosity from the link in bio.

Sven, the caretaker of the drawbridge used to rais Sven, the caretaker of the drawbridge used to raise the bridge whenever a big boat had to pas through the river underneath. Once, the king was getting late for a feast and as the bridge was being raised for the king's ship to pass, the king lost his patience and shot the bridge "into a thousand pieces".
However it wasn't long before the king's thoughtless act came to bite him back.
Listen to the story to learn what did a king do to repair his mistake.
